Since I also have a personal blog, I tend to leave out life details for the sake of professionalism. I'm not so sure that's the way to go about it, so we're taking a break.

thank you thank you! I've had the animal masks for a while, I was dedicated and bought them from a uk website because there are no great animal masks here! I think Breakfast at Tiffany's had a bit of influence there, and seeing some photographers here and there with masks that really do take you out of real life. My husband and I were listening to a song called Bear's Dance by Shostakovich and Garrett, the hubs, started dancing, so I just felt like putting it all together. His grandpa goes to Russia quite often so we had a lot of Russian elements at our disposal. I do really love the shoot and hope to do more like it in the future!
